The other night I had the privilege of meeting the Reading Royals hockey coach, Larry Courville. Now you might be thinking whats Larry have to do with Corey. Well Larry is a big fan of Medalist and is an avid outdoorsman.
Larry Courville was born in Canada and has been on the ice since the age of 4. His long life dream was to step out onto the ice as a NHL player. He did just that. Larry played in the NHL, AHL, and other hockey teams in his life. Now he coaches the Reading Royals, a farm team for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Larry wants to kill a turkey, and thats where I come in.
Larry and I hung out for a few hours the other day, getting to one another. I think hes a great guy, and has love for hockey the way I love the outdoors. We traded stories, and talked about our families, and put together some ideas to make a TV show, for Innerloc’s Out-There. I promise this show will have humor, and drama. Larry is going to put me on the ice, in his world and show me a thing or to about hockey and I am going to take him on a turkey hunt. Now Larry is no rookie when it comes to hunting. He has shot numerous critters, including a turkey. I just can’t wait to see the drama unfold when a big Thunder Chicken is walking in, I just hope the Silvermax technology can keep up with Larry’s changing body temp….
I look forward in spending time with Larry, and seeing how Medalist can both work well, in hockey as well as the outdoors. Tune in this year on Inerloc’s Out-There to see the drama unfold as Larry Courville and I hunt Turkeys, and have fun getting to know each other.

I had the fortune of having Larry as my hockey coach for the Lancaster Firebirds team. He was tremendous and I learned a lot from him. While I was sad that he left our organization, I was happy he was getting a chance to coach the “big boys”. I’m not a hunter, but I know Larry enjoys the sport. Wish him luck in his Turkey Hunt and you’ll enjoy his company.
